Formulation and anti-bacterial of liquid soap combination of Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus L. Rendle), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanni Ness Ex Bi.), and Orange Lemon (Citrus lemon L.) Essential Oils on Staphylococcus epidermidis

The condition of our community in the midst a pandemic makes us aware importance cleanliness. One way to maintain cleanliness is clean self with soap. Cinnamon has antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and epidermidis . Lemongrass , while lemons are able inhibit growth Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. aims this study determine formulation physical stability liquid soap combination lemongrass, cinnamon, lemon essential oils its Physical evaluation includes organoleptic, homogeneity, viscosity, pH, specific gravity which compared SNI, hedonic test performed. Antibacterial was performed .The results obtained homogeneous preparations, thick form, yellow-orange color, distinctive smell citronella. Specific (g/ml) meet requirements between 1.01 – 1.10 at room temperature. pH 8 11. viscosity (cPas) show that there an increase from week 1 6. related particle size during storage. foam height (cm) F1: 11.76 ± 0.67, F2: 11.67 1.25, F3: 11.33 1.02, F4: 11.60 0.79, F5: 11.18 0.84. average respondent liked produced, shape, comfort when used, smell. lowest value produced.
